The famous Iron Bowl “Kick-Six” will forever be remembered as one of the greatest game-ending moments in college football history. And today’s Six Figure Trucker will forever be linked to it. That’s right! Long before joining forces with Norton in Driveaway, Avery Young was an Auburn Tiger. He was a highly touted freshman offensive guard in 2013 when the annual Iron Bowl brought him face-to-face in the trenches against the vaunted Crimson Tide. After 59 minutes and 59 seconds, the game was still gridlocked at 28-all. What happened in that final second brought bedlam to Jordan-Hare Stadium and still brings an occasional royalties check to the aforementioned freshman. You see, a cameraman captured and fixated Avery’s reaction amidst a highlight that’s now been seen millions of times. This was just the beginning of Avery Young’s football career, which wound up including 9 years in the pros. In our conversation today, we discuss his experiences on the field and how it all relates to his new life over the road! You don’t want to miss this episode as we welcome Mr. Avery Young to the #SixFigureTrucker.
