Before he was a fixture in a Big Rig, our guest today spent most of his days in the Big Apple. As a kid growing up playing basketball on the streets of Long Island, 6 foot 8 inch Peter Rizzo was often called a “Skyscraper.” He went on to play hoops in college before returning to the City to work as a police officer among the land of skyscrapers. But, within his first few months on the job, two of them came down. When the unthinkable occurred, Peter Rizzo joined his comrades and jumped straight into the fire to do what he could to rescue lives and restore a city. We thank him for his service, and we’re honored to have him as our guest today as he shares some of his memories of that time on the force with the NYPD. Don’t miss this conversation with one of our nation’s finest on this episode of the #SixFigureTrucker.
